Description
Grit sand is a coarse sand that is used in landscaping and construction projects. It is also referred to as sharp sand or concrete sand. Because its particles are bigger than those of other sand varieties, it offers superior stability and drainage whether applied as a base material or to level surfaces.
It is a necessary part of concrete mixtures and is applied to cementitious renders and block paving, among other things.
