We provide a range of options to customise your staircase to your individual preferences. While Pine with MDF risers is our standard choice, we can combine different timber types to suit your design vision. Oak is another popular option, which can be used for handrails, spindles, and strings—or even for an entire staircase. Whatever your requirements, we can tailor the materials and design to create the perfect staircase for your space.

Glass balustrades can be customised in any style to suit your preference. If you have a design you like, simply share an image, and we will incorporate it into your staircase design. We also liaise with your installer and provide expert guidance to ensure the finished product meets your expectations.

We offer a full range of spindles to suit any staircase design. Our primary supplier is Cheshire Mouldings (www.cheshiremouldings.co.uk), and we can provide any item from their extensive catalogue.

Most staircases are delivered unfinished; however, we now offer the option to prime softwood strings, square spindles, newels, handrails, and baserails with a white acrylic water-based primer prior to delivery, helping to save time on-site during decoration.

Typically, the flight of stairs—including strings, treads, and risers—is fully assembled, while the newels, handrails, and spindles are supplied separately for on-site installation by your fitter. For stairs with winders, the winder treads and risers are supplied loose to facilitate easier installation. We also offer the option of a pre-assembled spindle kit for stairs and landings to help speed up the on-site assembly process.

We provide guidance on Building Regulations to help you maximise the functionality and design of your staircase while ensuring compliance.

When replacing stairs in existing properties, full compliance with current regulations may not always be possible. In such cases, we will advise you on the most suitable and practical solution for your situation.

Payments can be made via cash, card, or BACS. A 60% deposit is required upon order confirmation, with the remaining 40% due prior to delivery.

The time required to build your staircase depends on the complexity of the design. A simple straight-flight staircase in softwood can typically be completed in as little as two days. More intricate designs, such as oak staircases, may take 2 to 3 weeks. Generally, our standard lead time is 1 to 2 weeks.
