We offer various options to customise your stairs according to your preferences. While our typical choice for stairs is Pine with MDF Risers, we can mix and match the wood types to suit your liking. Oak is another popular option we can incorporate into the handrail, spindles, and strings, or we can even make an entire flight of stairs from oak. Whatever your preference, we can accommodate it to create the perfect set of stairs for you.

You can have glass balustrade in any style you want. If you have seen a detail you like, show us an image, and we will accommodate it in the design of the stairs.  We will liaise with and offer advice to your installer to ensure you get the final product you want.

We provide all types of spindles that are available. Our main supplier is Cheshire Mouldings (www.cheshiremouldings.co.uk), and we can supply anything in their catalogue.

Most stairs are delivered without a finish on them. But we can now prime softwood strings, square spindles, newels, handrails and baserails with white acrylic water-based primer before delivery to help save time on site decorating.

The flight of stairs (including strings, treads, and risers) is usually fully assembled, with the newels, handrails, and spindles packaged individually to be fitted on-site by your fitter. Stairs with winders will have the winder treads and risers supplied loose to allow for easy installation. We also offer the option of having an assembled spindle kit for the stairs and landings to speed things up on-site.

When replacing stairs in existing properties, it may be impossible to comply with the current building regulations in some instances. Still, we will always advise the best option for you.

You can pay by either Cash, Card or BACS. We take a 60% deposit on confirmation of order, then 40% balance prior to delivery.

The amount of time it takes to build your stairs depends on the complexity of the design. The process could take just two days for a simple straight flight made out of softwood. However, if you opt for oak stairs, it may take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks to complete. Generally, we work with a lead time of 1 to 2 weeks.
