- Ash has a straight grain, which adds to its aesthetic appeal, and it also has a coarse and even texture.
- It can be easily worked with both hand and machine tools, and it is recommended to pre-drill before nailing. Additionally, ash is receptive to staining, allowing for customisation, and enhancing its visual appeal.
- Common uses include – Flooring, millwork, boxes/crates, baseball bats, and other turned objects such as tool handles.
